The Deep End
People don’t really need to learn how to swim, do they? At least, that’s what aquaphobic Rizzy thinks. As a last-ditch effort to ensure her daughter can doggy paddle before their beach vacation, Rizzy’s mother signs her up for the Sunny Side Swim Camp. It’s all perfectly manageable…until a menacing trio of middle schoolers force Rizzy into an impossible competition at the end of camp. And if she doesn’t accept their challenge? Well, that’s easy: they’ll throw her into the deep end. "The Deep End" was produced for the 2023 ShortBox Comics Fair.
